Dear Fellow Citizens;

    There are three types of organizations:

            Those that watch things happen…

        Those that make things happen, and

    Those that wonder… what happened?

Middlesex Centre has been successful in making things happen.

Teamwork - As your Mayor for the last six years, I have been proud to lead a team of forward thinking, energetic Council and staff who have been willing to spend much more of their personal time to make things happen in Middlesex Centre.  In addition to Council, many of you as members of the community have partnered with us by contributing ideas, time, and money, and as a result both the Federal and Provincial Governments have rewarded our collective ideas generously.

Leadership - It has always been my belief, whether as a coach, as a teacher, or as a member of Council, that Leadership is not so much about what you can accomplish yourself, but rather what you can inspire others to do. With that in mind, it becomes clear that success relies on more than one leader. By giving others within the organization a chance to lead, succeed, and be recognized, you strengthen the whole.

With your support, this is the type of Leadership I will continue to give to our Municipality.
